Mark & Diane Saner of Thompsontown, PA

2008 will be the fourth year for Mark & Diane (aka Dad & Mom) as the car owners of Saner Motorsports. They have been great car owners by supplying us night in and night out with what it takes to be ultra competitive in this highly competitive sport.

Crew Chief:

 

 

 

Mark Saner of Thompsontown, PA

Besides being part owner of Saner Motorsports, Mark (aka Dad) is also the crew chief for both cars. This will be his fourth year as a 600 sprint crew chief, but it is his sixth year as a crew chief. He was crew chief for Nick when he raced four-wheelers in 2003 and 2004. He also drag raced for many years, so racing is in his blood. He also has a very broad knowledge of racing, because of his involvement in many different types of racing. So we are very excited to have him back as our crew chief for 2008.

Stan Fleming of Dillsburg, PA

Stan joined the Saner Motorsports team mid-way through the 2006 season, and has impacted the team right from the start.  Stan is the tig welder at Hyper Racing, where we get our cars.  Stan's racing knowledge comes from racing just about anything with wheels.  He has raced go-karts, 4-wheelers, 270 & 600 sprints, and 358 sprint cars.  Stan's knowledge of track conditions, set-ups, racing lines, and work ethic make him a great asset to the team.  Stan is returning for his third season with the team in 2008 as the head wrench and crew chief of the Saner Motorsports team.  He will also be piloting the Saner Motorsports sidewinder sprint at some races.

Trey Hostler of Port Royal, PA

Trey joined the Saner Motorsports team for 2007.  He was a great asset to the team last season and will be back for his second season with the team in 2008.  Trey will be assisting Stan and helping out in the pits changing tires, grooving tires, fueling the cars, and along with many other tasks.  He will also be helping out at the shop by helping assemble cars, washing the race cars and trailer.

Tom Naylor of Thompsontown, PA

Tom rejoins the Saner Motorsports team for 2008.  Tom was on the team our rookie year in 2005 as a crewman, and we are glad to have him back in 2008.  Tom raced a 600 sprint at Path Valley in 2006 and 2007.  Tom will be assisting Stan and helping out in the pits changing tires, grooving tires, fueling the cars, and along with many other tasks. 

Stats:

 

Jessica Waldman of Williamsport, PA

Jessica is Nick's girlfriend and for the 2008 season she will be again helping out Diane (Mom) in the stats department.  She will also be helping Nick get all of his safety equipment on while strapping into the race car before each race.
